For the second consecutive time... Qatar gains the confidence of the International Gymnastics Federation Qatar continues to strengthen its leading position on the global sports map, as the Qatar Gymnastics Federation has once again gained the confidence of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) by hosting the Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee Meeting (Men and Women). The meeting is held in Doha from February 7 to 10, with the participation of a distinguished group of gymnastics experts and officials concerned with the development of artistic gymnastics from various countries around the world. This event comes as an extension of the increasing international confidence that the International Gymnastics Federation places in Qatar, especially after the great success achieved by Doha in hosting the Trampoline Technical Committee Meeting from December 4 to 9 of the previous year. This reflects the advanced position Qatar has achieved in organizing and hosting global technical meetings. In this regard, Mr. Ali Al-Hitmi, President of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation, confirmed that hosting this meeting for the second time in a row represents a great source of pride for the federation and Qatari sports as a whole. He pointed out that this confidence reflects the high level of professionalism within the federation, in addition to the strong support that sports receive from the country's wise leadership. Al-Hitmi said: "We are very proud of the confidence shown by the International Gymnastics Federation, and we consider it a great responsibility to continue working on developing the gymnastics system in Qatar and enhancing our presence on the international stage, in a way that serves the sport on both regional and global levels." This ongoing dynamic highlights Qatar's advanced sports infrastructure and world-class facilities, as well as its strong record in hosting major tournaments, training camps, and international meetings, establishing Doha's position as one of the leading sports capitals in the world.
